The Facts About Generic Viagra
The actual name Viagra is owned by the Pfizer company which produces authentic brand name Viagra however this does not always deter other individuals from trying to duplicate this wondrously effective medication that is used to treat issues relating to erectile dysfunction in men and calling it generic Viagra.
The truth of the matter is there really is no actual generic form of Viagra although many sub standard and often low quality attempts have been made at the duplication process. Authentic Viagra is made by one company and one company only and that is the Pfizer Company. No other company is authorized to make this medication.

In an effort to reassert this statement Pfizer has also implemented a practice of placing identifying stamps on every Viagra pill produced in an effort to reduce the likelihood of duplication.
Although this is being done there are companies who have been able to make a drug similar to Viagra that is marketed under the generic name of sildenafil citrate however this product is not considered to be an actual generic of Viagra due to the fact that it has not been properly tested and authenticated by the Federal Food and Drug Administration which is a necessary step before any drug can be classified as an actual generic medication.
Since these so called generic forms of Viagra have not been properly tested there is no way to ascertain if they are in fact of equal quality to Viagra or even if they have the same rate of effectiveness as authentic Viagra.
It is highly advised that when purchasing Viagra you do so only from trustworthy sources such as online pharmacies with the proper licenses that can guarantee that the product you are purchasing is in fact authentic Viagra otherwise there is no way to know for sure exactly what you are getting.
